3 HIGHLIGHTS IN 2024 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS

Club Championships 2024 will be held on Sunday, 25 August 2024, at Montgomerie Links. Here are 4 highlighted activities during this tournament.
1. TITLEIST DEMO DAY
As part of the Club Championships tournament, the Titleist Demo Day event will take place on August 23 and 25. It is free to welcome golfers to participate at the Montgomerie Links Driving Range. The latest Titleist driver in the GT line features an all-new Seamless Thermoform Crown comprised of a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer, providing exceptional speed and stability but still preserving a player-preferred sound and feel.
In addition to experiencing Titleist's newest products, you will have a chance to receive professional advice from Fitting experts.
2. MINI GAME SECOND SHOT ON GREEN HOLE 15
One of the exciting activities that is truly attractive to golfers is the Mini Game at hole 15. At the tee box of hole #15, when hitting the official ball on green by second shot:
- With a bet of 100,000 VND, you will immediately receive a box of Titleist balls.
- With a bet of 500,000 VND, in addition to a box of Titleist balls and an umbrella, you have a chance to win 1 Titleist TSR2 Driver worth more than 19,770,000 VND.
- With a bet of 100,000 VND, you will immediately receive a box of Titleist balls.
- With a bet of 500,000 VND, in addition to a box of Titleist balls and an umbrella, you have a chance to win 1 Titleist TSR2 Driver worth more than 19,770,000 VND.
Notably, the total amount of Mini Game will be donated to the CSR project.
3. FUNDRAISING AUCTION FOR CSR PROJECT
Since 2018, our event team has integrated fundraising for CSR projects into annual Club Championships tournaments, and these initiatives have been met with great enthusiasm. The Club has announced the Green Hope 2024 project named "Raising funds for free swimming and anti-drowning skills classes for children in Quang Nam province".
With valuable items sponsored by ECCO Vietnam, Titleist Vietnam, Cobra Puma Golf Vietnam, and especially the driver golfer Nguyen Anh Minh, the prize for winning the championship at the Taiwan Amateur Golf Championship 2024 exclusively for the Fundraising Auction program, the Club hopes to receive a strong response from golfers and sponsors.
Green Hope is a CSR activity that benefits the local community through fundraising projects at Montgomerie Links’ Annual Club Championships.
In 2018, Almost 120,000,000 VND for installing clean water purifiers, including 5-year re-fill cost, scholarships for disadvantaged students, and upgraded playground and library facilities at Dien Phuoc Elementary School in Quang Nam.
The tournament called for the center offering special care to disabled and retarded children in the Dien Ban district, named KyAnh Foundation, the center received 60 million VND in cash and 100 gifts for children, also this year, we gave 70 million VND to other difficult situations in Quang Nam province on behalf of our donators.
The 2022 Club Championships raised 197 million VND for the Heart Surgery Fund for the Poor of the Dear Brothers Group - the silent donors paying for those who cannot afford the surgery costs timely at the Cardiology Department - Da Nang General Hospital.
In 2023, our Green Hope project called for nearly 200 million dollars to be donated directly to 22 difficult cases introduced by Dien Ban ward authorities. Among the successful auction items was the shirt bearing the image of the National flag used by Le Khanh Hung, who had won the prestigious gold medal for Vietnam in Seagame 32.

It has been 12 years since the first edition of the Club Championships was held at Montgomerie Links Golf Club. Since then, the event has become one of the indispensable annual tournament highlights and is associated with valuable and meaningful community connection messages. The Club is immensely proud to announce the return of the 13th Club Championships this year which officially kick off on August 27, 2023. Noticeably, on the 13th anniversary of the tournament, a series of spectacular, attractive, and interesting activities took place throughout three days of August 25, 26, and 27, including Golf Fair 2023, the community project, and networking parties “BBQ & Draft Beer”. The series of events promises to grant a professional golf tournament and a vibrant golf exhibition ambiance to golfers and visitors. It can be seen as a great leap toward Montgomerie Links Golf Club, continuing to affirm our position in the golf industry in the Central area of Vietnam.

Restarting after the pandemic, goodbye to 2022 with the memorable milestones by Summer Classic 2022 on May 21st, 2022; Club Championship 2022 on September 17th, 2022, and many golf tournaments from large scale to small ones. In the moment of transition between the old year and the New Year, the year of the Cat 2023, Montgomerie Links Golf Club promises to break out with significant changes in the ultimate sport with exciting golf tournaments taking place constantly throughout the whole year.
