At the same time, practical activities and standards to minimize the spreading of the pandemic are also put at the top priority in each person's daily life. As a Club operating in the industry of hospitality and sports in Quang Nam, Montgomerie Links Golf Club implements the 2022 event calendar in response to the Province’s slogan this year – Quang Nam GREEN destination!

The first event conceived and implemented by the Montgomerie Links team in 2022 is the Summer Classic competition. The shotgun at 11:45 AM on Saturday, May 21st shall mark the return of the Montgomerie Links event team since our last tournament in March 2021 – the Masters!

The Summer Classic tournament is one of the major events and the annual tournament in Summertime that the Club has continuously organized over the years. The event is offering an opportunity for local golf community to meet and compete with sporty spirit. 

To encourage the connection, players regardless of being a Club Member shall be able to compete in Handicap Division A, B, C, and D for males and a separated Division for passionate female players. In the end, the championship trophy will be given to the golfer with the lowest stroke score (Best Gross) after the conquest of 18 holes by the legendary Colin Montgomerie.

To provide a fair and unified competition for all golfers, competitors are obliged to start from the blue tee for males, the red tee for females, the white tee for kids under16 years old and seniors over 65 years old; Handicap certificate is verified by Clubs or e-platforms with Handicap management.

Through the golf tournaments, Montgomerie Links wishes to spread the spectacular images of Golf to sport lovers and to continue the golf movement that is becoming increasingly prominent in the region. In addition, the Club's operating procedures and service standards are being continuously improved and complied with the epidemic prevention recommendations of the Health Authorities to bring a Safe Zone to Members and customers.

Summer Classic brings together well-known sponsor partners, confirming the tournament’s scale, such as Vietcombank as a Gold Sponsor, and famous brands in the golf village such as ECCO GOLF, Footjoy, Titleist... definitely shall bring a memorable experience to the golfers.

Throughout these recent years, Montgomerie Links Golf Club, a golf club consisting of a hotel and resort villas, located in the Mai House Hoi An complex developed and operated by TBS Land has actively integrated community projects with sports movement throughout our main events organized by the Club, particularly the Green Junko project - installing drinking water filtration systems and restroom improvement at Junko Primary School at Dien Phuoc, Quang Nam Province, Green Hope - raised funds for children at the Disabled Children Health Care Center in Dien Ban District and connection activities such as giving Tet gifts to neighboring residents of Viem Dong Hamlet, Dien Ban District. In 2020, the Club also deducted the revenue of VND 200,000,000 for Quang Nam Province to share the epidemic prevention budget.
