Within the 2024 Club Championships, the CSR project named "Fundraising for free swimming courses and anti-drowning skills for children in Quang Nam province" has been introduced as the Green Hope 2024.

There is an alarming problem that every year in Vietnam, nearly 2,000 children under 16 years old die from drowning. That leads thousands of families, parents, grandparents, and relatives to face the pain of losing their children and grandchildren. In 2023, in the whole Quang Nam province, there were 15 children drowned, including 3 preschool children, 5 primary school students, 1 secondary school student, 05 high school students, and 1 adult. Therefore, Montgomerie Links has decided to choose "Fundraising for free swimming courses and anti-drowning skills for children in Quang Nam province" as the Green Hope 2024 project. The goal of the classes is to create conditions for children to learn and practice swimming, especially 100% of students know how to swim after completing the course, to minimize the risk of drowning accidents and strengthen physical fitness for young children.

On August 14, 2024, the first swimming class was run for disadvantaged children in grades 4 and 5 of Pham Nhu Xuong Primary School with funding entirely from Montgomerie Links. A representative of the Club's Board of Directors shared that "Beyond the primary goal of teaching swimming and water safety skills, we hope that the facilities and staff at Montgomerie Links will provide a healthy and relaxing environment for the children, inspiring them and giving them positive impressions about careers, thus equipping them for the future."

A teacher of the first swimming class, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Lan, a person in the NGO Swim Vietnam, expressed that "It has been a privilege to be part of Montgomerie Links' initiative to provide free swimming class to underprivileged children. This project has allowed me to give back to the community and make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children. I've seen firsthand how swimming can boost their confidence and bring joy to their lives."

Hopefully, the project will be spread widely to not only all golfers attending the 14th Club Championships, with a range of effective activities to raise funds for this project on 25th August 2024, but also to the community since the Club aims to establish a sustainable fundraising program for years, not only in the framework of one event.
