The arrival of MICHELIN elevates the region’s already legendary culinary offerings for golfers.
Vietnam Golf Coast (VGC) clubs are operating at the height of good taste as Central Vietnam affirms its credentials as one of Asia's most exciting culinary destinations.
Danang has long been an ambassador for Central Vietnamese cuisine thanks to its rich variety of dishes. In addition to iconic Vietnamese dishes like pho and banh mi, visitors can sample regional specialties like Mi Quang (turmeric rice noodles with shrimp and pork), bun Cha Ca (fishcake noodle soup), banh Xeo (Vietnamese savory crepe) and street-side congee (rice porridge) with braised duck. While local flavors are a major draw, Central Vietnam also boasts an impressive array of international dining experiences. Among the most prestigious is La Maison 1888, Da Nang’s one-Michelin-starred French fine dining restaurant, which continues to attract food lovers from around the world.
VGC clubs Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Montgomerie Links, and Laguna Golf Lang Co have embraced this culinary excellence, ensuring that visitors can enjoy both world-class golf and standout gastronomy.

Its Birdies Restaurant has earned acclaim for its elevated East-meets-West cuisine, blending international techniques with local ingredients to create a menu that satisfies both Vietnamese and global palates. According to Syracuse University, 90% of Fortune 500 CEOs surveyed stated that they had played golf. They take around 10 minutes per hole. This averages out to about 4 hours for an 18-hole round. In another study of golf entrepreneurs who play golf, more than 50% confirm that there is a similarity between the way a person plays and how he/she does business. 54% believe golf offers networking opportunities. 80% agree that playing golf aids in forming new business relationships and 93% reckon that playing golf with business partners is the "perfect shortcut" to establishing closer contacts. Most of the best beaches in Da Nang have a large sandy stretch of soft sand and clear water. The most popular popular beaches in Da Nang are My Khe and Non Nuoc, bcause they are situated close to the center of the city, in less than 10 minutes driving. This also means it can get busy during holidays and weekends, but there are plenty of other beaches around Da Nang to choose from. Da Nang city lies in the Midlands of Viet Nam, from which Ha Noi capitol in the north and Ho Chi Minh city in the south are almost equally spaced. Da Nang is also the central point connecting three UNESCO World Heritage sites: Hue Citadel, Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary.
Da Nang borders Thua Thien Hue province in the north, Quang Nam province in the west and south, and the East Sea in the east. The city is located in the middle of the country, on north – south trunk roads on road, rail, sea and air and lies at one end of the East–West Economic Corridor, an economic corridor connecting Vietnam with Laos, Thailand, and Burma (Myanmar).
The city has an area of 1156.53 km ² consists of 06 urban districts (Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Lien Chieu, Ngu Hanh Son, Son Tra, Cam Le) and Hoa Vang rural district, the Hoang Sa island district, with a population of 942 132 inhabitants (as of to 31/11/2010).
