ALMOST 155 MILLION VND CONTRIBUTED TO THE CSR PROJECT WITHIN THE 2024 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS

The project "Fundraising for free swimming courses and anti-drowning skills for children in Quang Nam province" within the 2024 Club Championships has just donated 155 million VND, of which, 95 million VND from the auction of valuable items sponsored by ECCO Vietnam, Titleist Vietnam, Cobra Puma Golf Vietnam, and especially the lucky club of Vietnam's rising star Nguyen Anh Minh.

I. KOZAI YASUHIRO WON HIS SECOND BEST GROSS IN CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS AT MONTGOMERIE LINKS

2024 Club Championships is the most traditional tournament of Montgomerie Links Golf Club, gathering 140 golfers who are Montgomerie Links members and local golfers. After an incredible day of competing on 18 challenging golf holes designed by Colin Montgomerie, the 14th Club Championships officially ended on August 25, 2024.
 
  
 
With a total score of 78, our Member - Kozai Yasuhiro, wins his 2nd Best Gross in the Montgomerie Links Club Championships. Besides, Mr. Huynh Tan Mai has recorded his name on the Best Net trophy (95 - 30 - 65), a category open to all participating golfers. 
 
  
 
In the Member division, the first place in C Division (HDC 20 – 36), and B Division (HDC 15 – 19) are Mr. Vo Duy Tan (87-20-67) and Mr. Nguyen Van Tien (84-18-66). With a Handicap cutoff from 0 to 14, Mr. Phan Vu Viet Hung. surpassed many single-handicapped golfers to win A Division. The Guest Division was also full of excitement with point-by-point chases; winners of A division (HDC 0 - 15), B division (HDC 16 – 22), and C division (HDC 23 – 36) belonged to golfer Le Thanh, Le Tan Phong and Nguyen Bong.
 
  
 
Ladies always bring astonish, conquering 18 holes of Montgomerie Links with a score of 97-28-69 and 94-24-70, winning the first prize and 1st runner up in the Ladies Division are Ms. Phan Thi Dieu Lien and Nguyen Thi Nhat Quynh, respectively.
 
 
Novelty prizes, including Nearest to the Pin, were awarded to golfers To Van Dung, Kozai Yasuhiro, Doan Noi, and Phan Thi Tham, while two Longest Drive prizes went to Nguyen Thi Chau and Pham Thanh Đo.
 
  

II. 155 MILLION VND DONATED FOR 2024 CSR PROJECT TO FUNDRAISE FOR FREE SWIMMING COURSES AND ANTI-DROWNING SKILLS FOR CHILDREN IN QUANG NAM PROVINCE

Continuing the tradition since 2018, the annual Montgomerie Links Club Championships always desires to become a volunteering bridge between golf lovers and mutual support to Quang Nam province. Ms. Le Vo Hoang Van - Club Manager, shared that “Breaking from tradition, we have decided to choose "Fundraising for free swimming courses and anti-drowning skills for children in Quang Nam province" as the Green Hope 2024 project. This project marks a new direction for us, as we aim to establish a sustainable fundraising program for years, not only in the framework of one event.”
 
  
 
 
Finally, 155 million VND was donated by the golf community and sponsors to the fund "Free Swimming Courses and Anti-drowning Skills for Children in Quang Nam." Of which, 34.5 million VND from the Mini Game Hole #15, 25.5 million VND was directly donated from individuals and enterprises, and 95 million VND from the auction of valuable items sponsored by ECCO Vietnam, Titleist Vietnam, Cobra Puma Golf Vietnam, and especially a driver of Vietnam's rising star Nguyen Anh Minh - an award when he won the Taiwan Amateur Golf Championship 2024.

Green Hope is a CSR activity that benefits the local community through fundraising projects at Montgomerie Links’ Annual Club Championships.
In 2018,  Almost 120,000,000 VND for installing clean water purifiers, including 5-year re-fill cost, scholarships for disadvantaged students, and upgraded playground and library facilities at Dien Phuoc Elementary School in Quang Nam.
The tournament called for the center offering special care to disabled and retarded children in the Dien Ban district, named KyAnh Foundation, the center received 60 million VND in cash and 100 gifts for children, also this year, we gave 70 million VND to other difficult situations, in Quang Nam province on behalf of our donators. 
The 2022 Club Championships raised 197 million VND for the Heart Surgery Fund for the Poor of the Dear Brothers Group - the silent donors paying for those who cannot afford the surgery costs timely at the Cardiology Department - Da Nang General Hospital.
In 2023, our Green Hope project called for nearly 200 million dollars to be donated directly to 22 difficult cases introduced by Dien Ban ward authorities. Among the successful auction items was the shirt bearing the image of the National flag used by Le Khanh Hung, who had won the prestigious gold medal for Vietnam in Seagame 32.

The project "Fundraising for free swimming courses and anti-drowning skills for children in Quang Nam province" within the 2024 Club Championships has just donated 155 million VND, of which, 95 million VND from the auction of valuable items sponsored by ECCO Vietnam, Titleist Vietnam, Cobra Puma Golf Vietnam, and especially the lucky club of Vietnam's rising star Nguyen Anh Minh.

Montgomerie Links Masters 2024 officially kicked off at Montgomerie Links Golf Club on Sunday, March 31, 2024, with the participation of 136 golfers. In the end, 17-year-old young talent Ha Nam Khanh became the Montgomerie Links Masters 2024 champion, clinching his first Green Jacket.

Montgomerie Links Masters will be the opening event for tournaments held by the Club in 2024, gathering 132 domestic and international golfers, scheduled for March 31, 2024.

Combined with activities such as the call for donations at the donation box, mini game On Green at hole 5, and a commitment to share profits from 10 brands at Golf Fair, the total amount donated to the Green Hope 2023 community project within the framework of the 13th Montgomerie Links Golf Club Club Championship up to 200 million VND.

Club Championships 2023 officially kicks off on August 27, 2023. A series of spectacular, attractive, and interesting activities took place throughout three days on August 25, 26, and 27, including Golf Fair 2023, the community project, and networking parties “BBQ & Draft Beer”.

Successfully opening the series of golf tournaments in 2023 at Montgomerie Links Golf Club, Open Masters 2023 took place on March 26th. It is a competition of 144 domestic and foreign golfers and finally Mr. Nguyen Nam Son won the championship.

The 11th Club Championships 2020 of Montgomerie Links Vietnam golf course has concluded with great pleasure and cheerfulness of all 143 golfers, partners and sponsors. This is not only an opportunity for golfers to strengthen their golfing skills, but also to exchange and associate relationships in the region.

After the success of Montgomerie Links Masters in June, the Club organized the Montgomerie Links Teams Cup to response to the support from its members and the golfers in area.

September 15, 2018, the 9th Montgomerie Links Vietnam Club Championship ended with laughter and joy celebrating the success of the Green Junko Project – bring hope toelementary school named  Junko at Dien Phuoc, Quang Nam Province.

The Club Championship 2019 has concluded with the great pleasure and cheerfulness of all golfers. The event specially marks 10 years in operation at the first golf course in Quang Nam Province and Danang.
