MONTGOMERIE LINKS OPEN MASTERS 2021

The Masters event is an annual tournament of the club which join in the excitement of the authentic Masters week. 144 golfers had started the shotgun at 11:45 am and completed 18 holes designed by legendary Colin Montgomerie in beautiful weather.
When golf lovers all over the world are eagerly waiting for the green jacket’s master at the Augusta National Golf Course, Montgomerie Links Golf Club - the golf course voted as the best golf course in Vietnam (Asian Golf Awards 2018) has named the Champion of the club's version “The Montgomerie Links Open Masters on the evening of March 27, 2021.
Continuously since its first introduction in 2013, the Masters event is an annual tournament of the club which join in the excitement of the authentic Masters week. This event has been well received since its released. 144 golfers had started the shotgun at 11:45 am and completed 18 holes designed by legendary Colin Montgomerie in beautiful weather.
The Champion of the tournament belonged to Mr. Tran Van Hieu with a total score of 75 gross, last year Champion Kim Chong Su put on the classic Green Jacket for Mr Hieu in the cheerful moments of the award ceremony.
Especially, along with this tournament, the “Corporate Team Event” prize offering the opportunity to expose the brand at the Montgomerie Links uniquely. Out of a total of 6 corporate teams registered, the Quynh Nguyen team won with a total net score of 225, defeated the low Handicapers who gained lot of competition experience.
In this event, Club Members have the opportunity to interact with the golfer community in divisional prize structures. The divisions are divided by Handicap which include both members and non-members. 131 Men golfers had competed in three groups with Handicap from 0 to 15 (A Division) 16 – 25 (B Division) and 26 – 36 (C Division) while we see many encouraging signs of the female golfers in Ladies Division, this Division gathered 13 people and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy is the Winner. Respectively, Mr. Duong Tran Thanh Tam (81-13-68); Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang (85-18-68) and Mr. Philip (99-36-68) are golfers won the Winner trophies of A, B and C Division.
All Par 3 holes are awarded attractive Hole In One prizes, typically with a 5 star resort package by luxury train, The Vietage, an exquisite journey that links two beautiful coastal cities Da Nang and Quy Nhon, worth $5,500. However, the goddess of fortune did not call out the name of anyone among 144 golfers and the valuable gifts still did not find its owner.
The tournament closed as a spiritual encouragement for the sport theme events in the region and as a deeper connection between the club with sponsors and partners. Accompanying the tournament are Vietcombank - Gold Sponsor and long term partners such as ECCO, Vietnam Airlines, The Vietage, Heineken, Danang Golden Bay, Balenga, Suntory Pepsico and others.
To spread the spirit of sport and share the beautiful image of golf, the Club has planned to hold the next events in summer and will soon announce it. Stay tuned!

Club Championships 2024, officially the 14th Club Championships, which is an annual golf tournament, will be held on Sunday, 25 August 2024, at Montgomerie Links. First played in 2010, this event has become a prestigious tournament for the golf community and well-known sponsors.

Montgomerie Links Masters 2024 officially kicked off at Montgomerie Links Golf Club on Sunday, March 31, 2024, with the participation of 136 golfers. In the end, 17-year-old young talent Ha Nam Khanh became the Montgomerie Links Masters 2024 champion, clinching his first Green Jacket.
