SUMMER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT 2019

In July 13th 2019, Montgomerie Links Vietnam has succeed in organizing Summer Classic Tournament 2019 - one of the three main annual tournament in the year 2019.
Out of members who have HDC 0 to 18, Mr Chang Kyung An, achieved the winner of Division A (whose HDC from 0 to 18) at the result Gross 79, HDC 11 and Net 68, Mr Pham Van Duyen finished tied for second at net score 69 (HDC 17).
In Division B (for members whose HDC from 19 to 34). Mr Nguyen Tien Tho, a familiar face in all of the events in Montgomerie Links, won at the net score 89 (HDC 20). The runner – up was Mr Nguyen Tien Sy
at the net result of 70 (HDC 23).
The players in the event was classified into different divisions by the different handicap to create the fair playing grounds. Golfer Nguyen Van Hung, a member at Montgomerie Links Vietnam, once again was the winner of “Best Gross” (Gross 74), the second time in this year after winning at Mercedes Trophy Qualification in March 30th, 2019.
Summer Classic 2019 was also the good chance for Non - member golfers with HDC (Guest Division) and ladies (Ladies division) to show their good skill. Mr Le Nguyen again defeated the rest of players in Guest Division to be the Winner at Gross 78, HDC 17, and Net 68, followed by Mr Tran Phuoc Binh as the second rank (Gross 92, HDC 28 and Net 68). To the golfers who have daily handicap in the Callaway division, the winner was Mr Park Sang Ho at the net score of 72 (Gross 87 and daily HDC 15). Another golfer from Korean, Mr Choi Jong Soo was the runner up at the net score 72, and daily HDC 17. In Ladies Division, Ms Cho Mi Jeong achieved the top player at the net score 71, and daily HDC 16.
Summer Classic Tournament 2019 has concluded with the great pleasure of all golfers. On March 30, 2025, Montgomerie Links Masters 2025 successfully closed, marking the 8th edition of this prestigious tournament. With 136 golfers in contention, the tournament showcased intense battles and unexpected turns, leading to a breathtaking conclusion. In the decisive final holes, a stunning surge saw golfer Nguyen Sinh Hieu claim victory and don the coveted Green Jacket.
